Rina's Dollshouse

Well the dollshouse is nearly finished, just in time for christmas. I'm looking forward to starting the new hurdy gurdy in january, (got lots of ideas for this one). Hope you all have a good Christmas, and I'll be back soon with the start of the new one.

" Finished !"

"I’m finished". 3 Months of hard work, and worth every moment, really happy with this one. I enjoyed making this one because I never know what it is going to look like until the end of the journey. ( keeps it exiting when you don’t know), every hurdy gurdy is a learning process. I’m pleased with how it’s turned out, and really happy with how it sounds.

I promissed my lady a dolls house, she wanted one after the Amsterdams project, so it looks as though I’m going to have to leave the hurdy gurdys for a while. I’ll keep you posted.

The end is in sight !
Everything has been varnished (5x) and polished, and now I have to check all the distances of the keys, and then the strings.

There’s is not a lot to show this time around. I’m busy with varnishing and polishing, it’s a lot of work,  and then the strings. !!!
